Middle Mouse Multiline on Windows

Hey - I am using CLion on Windows, Linux and Mac. On Mac multiline selection and creating multiple carets via holding the middle mouse button and dragging over multiple lines works as expected. However on Windows I can't get this to work. Of course there are other ways to achieve this, like Ctrl + Alt + Click to add new carets but this is way slower than just dragging while holding the middle mouse button. 

I also tried enabling Settings Sync, pushing the keymap used on the Macbook and getting it on the Windows machine but this did not help either. 

In the settings I am unsure how to even search for this action.
