High CPU usage

Intellij regularly has intensive CPU usage for long period of times.

Hello,

Is it reproducible with the latest IDE build? Could you please try to temporarily disable “Cucumber” plugin?

I'm using PhpStorm 2024.1.2
Build #PS-241.17011.119, built on May 28, 2024
macOS 15.1
GC: G1 Young Generation, G1 Old Generation
Memory: 8096M
Cores: 16
Metal Rendering is ON

 

and cpu usage in never below 200-300% even if the IDE  IDLE is in background and nothing is being done
