Why there is block caret when i enter to new opened source code and for sometime i cannot edit it?

here is filled square and for the first enter to any source code it shows me it, and I can not edit, event in double clicking it is selecting but when I try to delete, it just move cursor back

Did you install IdeaVim plug-in? Try to disable it: http://www.jetbrains.com/idea/webhelp/enabling-and-disabling-plugins.html.
