strange 11 behaviour

There are some strange behaviours with 11.  When I hit alt-enter to
import a class sometimes instead it fully qualifies the reference.
Even when the code compiles, the IDE often complains about missing
imports.

For me, the appeal of computer programming is that
even though I am quite a klutz,
I can still produce something, in a sense
perfect, because the computer gives me as many
chances as I please to get it right.
