No outside connections from IntelliJ anymore
Hi all,
In relation to my other post, I've noticed I cannot make any connections from within IntelliJ anymore to the outside world. The only thing which still works is the list of plugins, but I cannot even connect to our SVN repository, nor to the local Bamboo/JIRA server (while other people in my team do not have these problems).
Any idea on how to debug/solve this issue? I've lost 4 hours on this already, and it's driving me crazy...
Thanks,
Erik

Hello Erik,
Which OS are you using?

Hi Dmitry,
Thanks for taking the time to respond. It's fixed however. I had an insight, and started Oracle SQL Developer. There, also none of the connections worked! So then I started fiddeling with my network settings, and I have no idea what I turned on an off (I think I tried all combinations), and then it worked. No idea what caused this (maybe my new wireless network, maybe the update of snow leopard). Strange thing is that all my other programs were working without problems: only my Java programs failed me. The even more strange thing is that IntelliJ could connect to the plugins website however. So maybe it was a internal network proxy thing, but to be honest, I have no clue. It works again, so I'm happy!
