Recently opened projects list size

Hi all,
I have a large number of projects and I would like to reach them all via the File -> Reopen menu, but that list seems to contain no more than 14 entries. I couldn't find a setting for it. Is it a property in some configuration file maybe?

I have to say, this comment that we have no setting for it and no plan to add one is extremely poor. These are user ideas. If you want to solicit user ideas to make users engaged and happy, who will then talk about how wonderful your IDE is, then the right answer would seem to be that's an interesting idea and we will prioritize that if there are sufficient people interested in that feature.
So that said, I think we need some kind of feature like this. Similarly, the list of recent projects should be sorted by project name alphabetically.
Welcome screen has been redesigned several times since the original response to this thread that was provided more than 10 years ago.
You can have as many projects in the list as you like and you can group them. There is also fast search functionality.
There is also File | Open Recent | Manage projects menu which displays a popup with all the projects and fast search.
You can assign a keyboard shortcut in the Keymap settings to open the Manage projects popup directly.
Vote for https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-146633 request if you would like the sorting feature to be added.
