This bug is killing me

This bug:

has been open since September 15th and it is really annoying. If I'm
editing code and then do something to open a dialog box (e.g.,
"introduce variable"), then after the dialog closes the focus is no
longer in the editor window. So I have to manually click in the editor
to continue typing.

Does this happen to anyone else?

Is there any chance of having someone working on it soon? It seems like
it would be easy to fix (unless it's Apple's fault I guess).
