Can I convert a .ipr based project to .idea (directory based)?

Hello,

Is there a way to convert a .ipr (file based) to .idea (directory based) project?

When IDEA import the maven project it automatically creates it as file based.

File | Open in New (Directory Based) Format

When IDEA import the maven project it automatically creates it as file
based.


No, there's an option to choose the project format in the Maven importer.
