IDEA slow when editing JSP with lots of includes

I've got some particularly nasty JSP files that have lots of includes (30ish) which are painfully slow to edit in IDEA. I type a line and then IDEA locks up for two or three seconds while my CPU is pegged at 100%.

I'm guessing this is because IDEA is busy re-parsing everything. Is there a way to turn that off for JSP files?
