TeamCity Plugin Login Error

I have successfully installed TeamCity and configured it through the web interface, but I want to use the TeamCity plugin for IDEA. However, when I attempt to log in, I get the following error:

Cannot login to TeamCity: jetbrains.buildServer.xmlrpc.RemoteCallException: XML-RPC library returned null as result: java.lang.IllegalStateException: XML-RPC library returned null as result

I can assure you I have provided the right credentials. And the URL is the same URL I apply in my browser.

I noticed something in the TeamCity panel that didn't appear in the alert box. The message "Server Not Available" precedes the error message I listed before. I can verify that the server is indeed up and running, and I can log in with the identical credentials through the web interface.

Hope that helps ring some bells.
