whoa! The text size is HUGE. Looks OK only with View/Text Size/Smallest setting of my IE. But I usually use Normal, and IE cannot remember text size for individual web sites.
And the fixed-width page usage is imho unreasonable. It is not some kind of "Designer" web site with large fixed-size pictures. Considering the ongoing development of IDEA UI designer the web pages look quite unflexible. Hope this is just version 0.9 :)
If JetBrains really want to keep this fixed-width layout, IMHO they should center the window content, because it looks really bad (left-aligned) on high resolutions.
Appart from that I like the refreshing overall look of the website, well-done !
hehehe, we criticize everything these guys do don't we! lol
I think it's perfect, also it's starting to look like they're matching their IDE look and feel to their site and vice versa! It's a nice tough and they're building good brand recognition. Also note how it's JetBrains in the forefront with the real official name of the product being IntelliJIDEA... IntelliJ is not the company.

To be fair, the website is not part of the EAP. But still, I consider that feedback (either positive or negative) should always be welcome as long as its constructive.

The text looks quite normal or possibly a little bit too small on my computer, both in Mozilla and in the Internet Explorer I just started.
And the fixed-width page usage is imho unreasonable.
I agree, I prefer being able to actually use the screen rather.
This looks especially bad when you zoom in (because you have a high resolution screen and you want larger fonts). Only a couple of words will fit on each line on some pages, such as http://www.jetbrains.com/idea.
If the web site designer is reading this, may I suggest downloading Mozilla and browsing through the site at a text size of 150%? This gives me a text size which is approximately what I would prefer. You'll notice some background pictures not being tall or wide enough for this font size. Then try it at 200%, which someone running at 2048x1536 or someone with impaired vision might want to use. Then it's even more obvious.
Other than that, the new web pages look quite nice.
Looks good.
Did you notice they have development done partially in Boston now?
Also, it would be nice if you wrote who's who near the JavaOne pictures.

Good separation between the two... finally :)

Yep. That's what EAP is all about.
