News Server
Ok, I may be in teh minority here, but I absolutly HATE the web news interface the Sun and IntelliJ are now using. Call me archaive, but I MUCH prefer my news reader. Are these forums accesible via a news reader any longer? News.IntelliJ.net do not carry any of the new groups.
Anyone?

I see the following groups in my news reader:
j.i.announcements
j.i.community
j.i.documentation
j.i.eap
j.i.eap.announce
j.i.eap.j2ee
j.i.itn
j.i.openapi
j.i.plugins
j.i.tracker.idea.bugs
j.i.tracker.idea.features
(I also don't like the web-based interface of these groups or the tracker.
Maybe I should suggest that IntelliJ build a tracker UI into IDEA.)

Actually I was just about to post a message asking what you are using as a news server. I love the old NNMP news groups but I can never access them on customer sites (usually banks) due to firewall blocking so this web interface is rather useful. I was looking at Jiro but before I go any further I thought I'd ask you guys what this interface is.

I use outlook express.
I point to news.intellij.net

Errr,
The question was directed at the IntelliJ guys but after realising that I actually wrote "Jiro" when I meant "Jive" I now see that this is in fact Jive so I've actually answered my own question!!!
Please therefore excuse my excess lunchtime beer and ignore any other posting I made this afternoon! :)
Personally I think this is a damn good interface!

BTW, Michael, shame on you for using Outlook, try Mozilla, it's miles better! :) <-- don't miss the smiley
