We have fixed serious problem in layout behaviour, and the fix will be included into the next build. Couldn't you please try it, probably everything will work properly.
When positioning components, I'd like the uiDesigner to be more accurate than this: see image below. (absolute and relative sizes/spacings are wrong.)
left = uiDesigner, right = app @ runtime
Hi, I do not understand the purpose of your spacers in each line and columns that contains your buttons ... is it because you want a column larger than your button (if so, you can put your spacers in any empty cell of the column I think). If it is to have some empty lines, are you sure that your spacers have the good orientation ?

I wanted each cell to be a square, with equal sides. I haven't checked, with the current version, and there could be a better way. As there is no doc nor how-to, it's still unchartered territory for me.
