Can I apply python syntax highlighting to additional extension?

I would like to use python syntax highlighting for .pyt (ArcGIS python toolbox) files as well. I have taken a look through settings and the forum and don't see a way to do this that's immediately apparent. Is there any way to add extensions to be highlighted?

yes, you can register *.pyt as a python file type in Settings->File Types->Python Files
