Scala documentation?
hi there. how can i setup scala documentation assistant / navigation, maybe in a window on the side, so that on the fly it shows the documentation of the class / function / etc? (similar to eclipse)

It should be possible. I created an issue about it: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-132474
Right now you can just invoke Quick documentation popup when you need it (Ctrl+Q for Windows, ^ + J for Mac).
