Copious exceptions in core using Scala plug-in

(by copious, I mean like 70 or 80)

It looks like, after running for several hours, the IDEA Core throws an
exception almost every time it goes to do a syntax check of the file.
This is probably specific to the versions that I am using: IDEA 103-190
and plug-in 0.4.719. It wouldn't be that bad except that intentions stop
working and that is a real fraxing pain.

P.S. I extracted a parameter today. That was SO cool. Thank you.
