Database configuration not saved across RM restart

Rubymine does not save database configurations.  It always reloads it from the database.yml
This is true even with the 'save on disk with master password protection'

So every time I load rubymine, the DB configs are always repopulated with non-working values, since I use ERB in database.yml.
I see a pile of database error balloons telling me about problems that are really of rubymine's own making.

I'm using Rubymine 7.1 RTM.  Same problem occured on the RC
