RubyMine 7.0.4 stuck on indexing
Hey Guys,
I'm trying to load a pretty big rails project which I had no issues till yesterday.
I just deleted the .idea folder to try and solve other issue but now I can't even load the project.
Tried everything I found online - invalidate the cache, exclude big folders, remove and reinstall rubymine, restart... - Nothing.
I can load all the other projects I have with no issue - just that one.
Attached the screenshot of my RubyMine.
I'm using Macbook air with Yosemite 10.0.2. 8GB of memory.
Any idea ?

Hi,
could you please provide whole content of RubyMine's logs directory (Help|Show Log in ...)
Also CPU dupmp would help too (see https://intellij-support.jetbrains.com/entries/29983118-Reporting-performance-problems for instruction how to do such dumps)

I could finally get it to work after 4 reinstalls, deleting the .idea folder again and restart.
If you need any more info to help others now it's working. - please let me know

How many files do you have in the project? Do you have symlinks inside the project?

Around 4k. no symlinks.

The indexing was done. you can see the screenshot.
And one time I waited for an hour.
after I finally succeeded it took about 30 sec.
Could you please create and upload a CPU dump (https://intellij-support.jetbrains.com/entries/29983118-Reporting-performance-problems)
Of course it make take a time so feel free to do it when you will have this time ;)
