Switching files between vertical tabs
Hi,
I know you can right click on a vertical tab split and then select "Move to Opposite Group" to move a tab from one group to the other, I was wondering how you bring up that first menu without using the mouse though?

Sorry one other shortcut that'd be similiarly useful....ALT+LEFT and ALT+RIGHT but they don't let me switch between my vertical splits, is there any way to do that?

There's no dedicated hotkey for the "Move to Opposite Group" action.
But you can open IDE Settings | Keymap, find the action by name and assign a hotkey.

Do you mean switch between splitted editors? Check the hotkey in the menu under Window | Goto Next Splitter
