How to set default encoding?

Hi.

Why default encoding of new file is 'x-MacCyrillic' on my mac? I know i can change it in right-bottom, but i always forget it.

I know there is possibility to change project default encoding in IDEA, why dont do this in RubyMine?

Hello Alex,

The coming Rubymine EAP will include an option for specifying default encoding for the whole project.
