Python plug-in news?

Hello Ahmed,

Any news from the (new) Python plug-in?

Now that Google is betting on Python with AppEngine?:

IMHO now would be the moment for IntelliJ to get quite a few new users
- since
so many are searching for a Python IDE due to this AppEngine
(and most are also new to Python).

The work is going on, but its current state isn't ready for release yet.
