Modules in the Project Tool Window

I'd like to be able to contol the order of the modules in the Project Tool Window.

Alphabetical order tells me nothing, I would like to see them ordered as they apperar in the DSM window.

I tried to create a Favorite entry for each module in the dependency order but, in the end, I always get the alphabetical order.

Alphabetical order might be OK if you have tens of modules and its difficult locate them in the tree. But to manage a few modules I would stick to a depenency order.

Hello jose,

There is no such option in IntelliJ IDEA, and I don't think that it could
be implemented for performance reasons. You can organize your modules explicitly
by placing them in a hierarchy of folders in the file system - then it will
be reflected in the Project view as well.
