"Updating indices" and multiple open projects
Is it a technical requirement that when another project is loading, the actions that require the indices are disabled in the first project, too?
Seems to me I should still be able to do for example Goto-Class in the first project.

In that case I'm afraid there's a regression: I just tried again with IU-90.10:
Opened a second project and waited until the modal dialog went aways and IDEA showed "Indexing" in the status bar.
Tried to invoke "Go to class" in the first project's frame => IDEA instead showed the "Go to file" dialog and popped up the warning about disabled actions while indexing.

On Sept. 23rd jeka committed change 248975: "index update in background:
enter dumb mode in all opened projects". Doesn't that change cause
exactly this behavior?
