Is there a way to expand all after a find in path (ctrl+shift+f)?
I've looked everywhere. I always do this, so wondered if there is a way to automatically do it

There is no automatic way to do such. You have to manually do it (each time). You may want to vote for (and possibly comment on) the feature request: IDEA-122266 Focus & expand Find Usages tree as soon as it has results
