Automatically add GIT commit message to JIRA ticket

Hi All,

Not sure if this is the best place to ask this question.....

Anyway, I recently moved from Netbeans over to IDEA, loving it. The only thing I can't work out is how to get a JIRA ticket to update on a GIT push. This might not even be possible.

I only ask because Netbeans had a pretty funky integration with JIRA and SVN where it automatically update the JIRA ticket with commit message, revision number etc.

Is it currently possible to do this?
