Debugger 'Inspect' shows nothing

Yep, it was broken during UI refactoring. Will be restored, of course :)
Seems like not too much people using it...Are you using it on regular basis? What improvements to the functionality would you like
to be added?

Eugene, it was very useful on its own (when it worked ;) ) Used it to drill down into complex object graphs. AFAIR, it wasn't a modal window, so adding a quick maximize button to the window would be fine.

Also, it it's possible to convert it into a tool window, which can be minimized and restored into the standard IDEA window bar, that'd be great.

If I'm talking about the same feature you're talking about, I would very much like to see the first level of the object expanded automatically when I click to inspect an object after hovering over it in the source code.

Why would you need this? If you need a list of inspected objects, there's a 'watches' panel available.

Why would you need this? If you need a list of
inspected objects, there's a 'watches' panel
available.

I was just speculating (trying to make it a pleasure to develop :) I'd use it to have a bookmarked object graph point. One could add it to the watches and click inspect from there, but it's one extra hop. I don't remember, is it possible to add a watch from the watch window expanded graph?
