Try dragging, not just clicking :)

Try as I might, dragging seems to do nothing... possibly because the
clicked section seems to maximise on the initial mouse down rather than
wait for a mouse click? I've tried clicking and dragging all over the
headers, nothing doing :(

Am I missing something?

Sorry for the confusion. The debugger layout is not completely done yet. Will be in place very soon.

Kirill, how about being able to show/hide any debugger panel and not just "Watches" (which can be hidden by pressing "Hide Watches" button on the "Variables" panel) ? If, say, there were show/hide buttons (probably, somewhere on the "Variables" panel since it's located very comfortably in the middle and is always visible, unlike area below the "Close" and "Help" buttons) for all 4 panels (Frames, Variables, Watches and Console) and IDEA was also remembering what panel was shown or hidden last time - then it would be very accessible to quickly hide unused panels (right now, for example - I don't need "Frames" and "Console" and they just take a valuable space)

Btw, those new tabs in debugger view start reminding me of Eclipse :) Brrrr ...

This is already done and you will see that in the next EAP.
