SourceSafe issues
When I try to commit the project Idea wants to check in all "vssver.scc" files?!
I found a related issue in Jira, but that one is marked as fixed.
How can I configure an exclude filter?
There are many *_WiredEx.java (generated from Cuba framework)
that I never want to check in.
Is it caused by a VSS limitation that Idea cannot distinguish between
"local" files and "added" files (like cvs or svn can)?

Anybody?
I just noticed an even more annoying problem:
Press save (ctrl-s) and immediately all change markers are gone.
I am currently in stealth mode with Idea, because company policy dictates eclipse here.
I was hoping to shine so much with Idea that I can gradually convince fellow workers of Idea, but currently it doesn't look that way.
Hi Stephen...
just to back your experience a bit, we have all sorts of problems with VSS6
and Idea 6.01. Our hope is that 6.02 will fix most of these issues, I will
revisit Idea 6 for this customer only when 6.02 comes out. Probably VSS6 is
very hard to adapt to the new sophisticated Idea 6 features like e.g.
changelists support because it is not smart enough foir this kind of things
by itself. I already updated to Idea6 myself but then, I do not use VSS6
:-). Another dozen Idea5 licenses will be very likely updated here at one of
my customers, but only when VSSS6 support works flawlessly.
When I remember correctly 6.02 is planned for release end of this week, so
it is not too long away...
Ciao
...Jochen
