need help instaling and configuring git and teamcity with jetbrains 11 ultimate

Hi I just downloaded git and team city and I'm solidly confused on how to use them with jetbrains (I'm confused about installing plug ins period) was wondering if someone could tell me how to install (as in how to install for dumies terms) it inside jetbrains
I cant really understand some of the tutorials i see online cause it seems like they skip some steps
