Let's just hope that whenever the new eap does come out, it'll be slightly more useful than the depressing 977 that we waited for with such naive eager hope!

Hey look at it this way, less people in EAP, less noise, your feature
requests will make it to the top of the list once again! :)
I know for a fact that there are 2 major bugs for me which won't be
fixed in 985, but a few others which are. The 2 which are not are 1)
Add a breakpoint in a jsp and watch memory grow by 30MB for ever
breakpoint. 2) no way to trace/debug HttpServletRequest and response,
since it seems to think it's not a valid variable. Kind of a pain when
debugging JSP code... but oh well.

fixed in 990, but it was not...
I think it's hunger that make me read and write weird things ! Maybe I'll

Ok you need to get off the diet, we'll hold the fort for you.
I find it quite odd that they're putting all the fixes under 985, and no
new fixes are going into further builds. Usually there are builds
happening beyond the one we're looking for... not this one, which makes
me thing it's a build where all the functionality will be in, and then
it's bug fixing city... hence code freeze.

They've got a couple fixed in 986, one of them today. And there's already a
bug report for 985, so they've created the build.
Let's hope it's stable enough so they can give it to us.
And let's hope it happens soon, I guess they don't wanna be responsible for
the starvation of the EAP community :).

You have to disable "Suspend All Threads While Stepping" in the debugger tool bar. Saves you a lot of time...
