starteam problem
I test the connection to the starteam from the intellij and it says
"Connection Successful" although when i try to check in, check out etc. a
file it says that there is an error: the specific file does not exists into
the starteam repository. when i try the same from the starteam there are no
problem.
Does anyone knows how to overcome that problem?
thanks in advance.

Is it possible that you have specified the wrong view in your starteam
configuration? Make sure that you are using the same view with the client
that you have specified in starteam.

Georgios,
Before you begin the StarTeam integration, you should make certain that everything is in sync with you StarTeam project. You also need to make sure that the paths map correctly between your IDEA project and the StarTeam project. I am assuming that you did this when you said that "...starteam there are no problem[s]."
Once everything is in sync. Click the projects, top-most element and from the StarTeam menu, click "Mark Project as Current". Then from the StarTeam menu, click "Refresh". Try making a change to a file now. Then try checking in that file.
Does it work now?
still the same problem.
note: in our company we have installed the star team 4.2 (on the client side
and on the server side as well) but the starteam-sdk.jar file is from
version 5 which i have downloaded from starbase (we did not have the
startteam-sdk.jar for 4.2 version)
maybe this causes the error... any ideas?

Georgios,
Do you use alternative working path? If so, there's an option, which is not
accessible from UI (see in .iws file).

I have the very same problem, but I use just the standard working paths.
Could it be that there is a problem with explicit paths on a Starteam folder? What path is Starteam searching for?
thanx for any help,
