Compiling open source for first error?

Check if you've got "Autoscroll to source" turned on in the build
Messages window.

Yes - Autoscroll to Sources is already turned off, and I see the described behaviour.

Same to me. When changing to another error in another file this one isn't open - so disabling autoscroll does indeed work. But opening the first one is not only annoying but also very inconsistent and I think it's worth a bug report. Do you file it or I?

I hadn't got round to entering it in the tracker.
