Getting Connection Error when trying to update PHPStorm 7.1.3

Hello,

I'm running PHP Storm 7.1.3, there is no proxy server on my network, and I'm connected to the internet.

When I try Help | Check for Update..., I receive the following error in a dialog box; Connection failed.  Please check your network connection and try again.

I get this same message when I go to File | Settings | IDE Settings | Updates | Check Now

Does anybody have any ideas on how I can get past this error?
