CSS indenting not working

I have my css code style set up to use tabs (i just prefer them) and when I create a new
selection it does not automatically indent upon hitting return

So I get stuff like this:

#someID {
prop: val;
prop: val;
}

instead of:

#someID {
    prop: val;
    prop: val;
}

and the weird thing is, the code style window for css shows the 2nd block as the format.

As it stands right now, I have to hit tab after every return manually inbetween entering properties.

This only happens in CSS all the other languages work fine.
