4.5.4 / 2253 bug fixes?

Is there a list of the fixes that have been addresses (or any new features) in 4.5.4?

Hello Chris,

Is there a list of the fixes that have been addresses (or any new
features) in 4.5.4?

and probably some more not logged minor fixes.

Thanks Serge, but...wow - a 55 megabyte download just because ctrl-shift-4 doesn't close the debugger?? Surely that tiny list of minor issues couldn't have justified a new release?

Don't complain about new releses. You have the option to ignore them.

Well, thats exactly the problem. For every release in the 4.5.x cycle, of which there have now been 4, there is no easy way of establishing what has been addressed and thus whether the download is justified. What would be preferable is that along with the download link featured so prominently on the jetbrains homepage, there should also be a link to the fixed issues and new features added.

I agree with that :)

I absolutely agree. Instead of just 'Important bugfixes' on the download page, please put a link to changes since the last release. This would be very helpful.

Is that link posted above the complete list? What about the serious bugs like the "source code changed" debugger issue?

I would love to have a place where I could get a 'Change Log'. Most other products have a change log that let's you know what was changed/updated between each release including bug fixes.

Everytime I download a new IDEA I search all over for it (forgetting it is not there). This is the first time I have actually found something (this message).

It would be a nice addition.

I agree, a changelog would be very nice...

Another change I saw in version 4.5.4 is the AspectJ support (afaik)

Or at least instructions in the FAQ about how to use the tracker to determine what bugs have been fixed (i.e. search for Fixed in between your current build number (found in Help -> About) and the build number for the point release you're interested in)
