Updates?
Hi,
on the PHPStorm site a see a new version 7.1. My installation runs with 7.0 and the updates function didnt notice the new version. The "check for updates in channel" is set an the selectbox is in "New Major Version Releases".
Is the next Major Version 8.0 and not 7.1?
Is 7.1 the "next milestone release" ?
Anyway, to switch the selectbox dont change anything now.

the next major version is 8.0. Please change the channel to 'early access program' - does it work? If not, please check if you can access http://www.jetbrains.com/updates/updates.xml - probably the URL is blocked by your proxy or network configuration.
Thank you for the info. If I switch to "early access programm" it runs fine and shows an EAP Version 7.1.1(133.626). But there is a difference between EAP and 7.1(133.326) which is available for download also. So it is not possible to get a reminder only for updates of the minor versions?

Pls wait for tomorrow's 7.1.1 bugfix then!
It will be announced properly, you have to do full download when going from 7.0 to 7.1 anyway ;)
Thanks, for the daily work I like to stay on a stable branch. ;)
Only if there a new features in an EAP I will try that in an separate installation.
