phpstorm vs IntelliJ IDEA
Hello,
Im cosnidreing to get phpstorm, but I also need to work on java, ruby, javascript.... the life of a modern developer.
I was wondering if IntelliJ IDEA with the php plugins provide ALL the features phpstorm (including the webstorm feautres). I like the open directory funtionality of phpstorm a lot, and i dont seem to find it in IDEA....
It this also true for Ruby Python etc?
I mean, Is intellJ IDEA the superset and it will provide all the features of its lesset siblings via plugins?
Best,
F.

I saw a ticket (maybe even more than one) on Issue Tracker about such request. Here is one of them: http://youtrack.jetbrains.net/issue/IDEA-61080?projectKey=IDEA
