If it does not work .. then it could be SQL-specific style or PHP string in general -- cannot say anything more specific by looking at your small fragment.

If nothing of the above will help -- I suggest:

• go trough each style and look at "Background" colors and see what elements have similar colors
• share your Editor Schema ("File | Export Settings...") so it can be downloaded and tested locally.

If so -- it's "General | Errors and Warnings | Warning"

That did it, also needed to remove the Effect(Underline).  

It's the same element -- the dropdown box.

Yes, was looking at the "error stripe mark", not noticing the "effect"
