Shift + Delete greys files permanently out
已回答
Hello,
I always use shift + delete to delete files in file browsers etc. because it doesn't use the recycle bin, no matter which system I am on. However in the tree views of IDEA derivatives it always greys my files out. I don't know why it does so, but even after deleting and recreating them they're greyed out. What exactly did I do and how can I undo it? Can I change the shortcut somehow? I cannot find any key binding on Shift + Delete.
Regards

It shouldn't be cut. It is confusing. I had to search out why my folder is grayed instead of permanently deleted.
Are you aware of the [Shift]+[Del] and [Shift]+[Insert] windows shortcuts?
They are for [Ctrl]+[X] and [Ctrl]+[V]
Where does [Shift] + [Del] behave like a Cut command within Windows? It seems like an illogical decision by people at Microsoft to create a 2-key shortcut for a 2-key command, where the “shortcut” is well-known to perform permanent file deletions.
Hi,
Thanks for reporting this. Have you tried searching by shortcut action? In Settings | Keymap?
Also, there isn't an unsafe delete option mapped to a shortcut in IDEA, you can upvote this feature request.
