Android Studio not closing curly brace every time

Hello i have a weird behaviour with curly braces when i do this

for{}

It close it automaticaly but when i use auto complete or doing 

for(){

It doesn't close it

Kindly note that Android Studio is not maintained directly by JetBrains. I can not reproduce the same in Intellij IDEA.

If you see this behavior in other JetBrains IDEs, please let us know with more details.

I would try disabling all custom plugins and AI tools for issue isolation first.
