Junie is not working in the latest 2025.2 EAP
PHPStorm 2025.2 EAP (Build #PS-252.16512.27, built on May 21, 2025) on Windows 11

When trying to use Junie it simply populates the History window with ‘Unamed’ and the spinner just whirs continuously. This carry on until it is manually stopped.
I have tried various prompts and settings but with the same result.
It works fine on the release version.

I have tried that but the EAP for Junie seems to be locked to the original beta testers. With that version installed it simply states:
“Currently access to Junie is available only by invitation. Join the waitlist to try it out.”
The link ends up at the download page, with no option to sign up to the EAP version.

Thanks for letting me know. I am current using the release versions, as you suggested, so it is not a major issue. However, I would like to get back to the EAP as soon as I can, so good to know the team is aware of the issue.
I am experiencing the same issue in WebStorm 2025.2 EAP. Whenever I click the blue button it creates an “Unamed” item in the history list and that's it.
Any ideas of how to fix it?

Bogc Please check the Junie version via Settings | Plugin | Installed. Junie version 251.x.x is not working in IDE version 2025.2EAP. Please downgrade your IDE or install a standalone GA version IDE to use Junie.
Yes, I installed the GA version and the plugin started to work - thank you!
It might help if you implement a message to indicate that the AI agent is not working. As is, it is very confusing because you can click on the blue button and nothing seems to happen.
I can confirm that the Junie EAP version also does not allow access on Webstorm 2025.2 EAP. I have a paid pro plan and can use Junie in 2025.1.3 and would like to be using features of the EAP, but I'm not willing to give up Junie. Can this be resolved?
I've tried the join waitlist link and it doesn't appear to do anything but send me to the Junie marketing page.

Unfortunately, EAP versions of Junie uses license that is available only to users taking part in closed testing program. If you are not part of it, we recommend you using Junie version from stable release.

I have empty view in junie plugin , webstorm reinstalation doesn't help, junie plugin reinstal deosn't help

Same for me. Junie does not work in 2025.1.4. After Update it is blank.
You can solve this re-installing 2025.1.3
I have the same issue. Junie is just a blank window. I have IntelliJ IDEA 2025.1.4 (Ultimate Edition).
Downgraded to IntelliJ IDEA 2025.1.3 - and it works again
I am having the same issue with WebStorm and RustRover. I tried downgrading, but that didn't resolve the issue.
Current release of IDE fixed the issue - please upgrade through update tool to 2025.1.4.1 version of IDE - everything should work as intended after that.
