Strange "stringΔn" type error

Interesting error

The error itself is ~fine (the code is actually correct, but I understand why PS would be confused), I'll rearrange the code.

But the “stringΔn” message… Would PS be written in C[++], that would look like a string not 0-terminated. but PS being in Java… 

Not a big deal, probably.
