Enable system window title bar

已回答

Using both Rust Rover and IntelliJ I noticed that in after starting IntelliJ after a long time the UI changed. Trying to revert all the settings applied, aligning this with my Rust Rover instance I still fail to enable the system window title bar for IntelliJ:

Here you can see both Rust Rover and IntelliJ.

I want IntelliJ to have the same window title bar as Rust Rover has.

You're trying to make IntelliJ show the system window title bar like RustRover, but can't find the option. To fix this, go to Settings > Appearance & Behavior > Appearance and disable peryourhealth the "Merge main menu with window title bar" option (under the new UI). This should bring back the system title bar. Make sure both apps are on the same version, as UI options may differ.

Jreimann This is a known issue, sadly, it has not been prioritized yet. Please upvote IJPL-43505 to show it affects you too.

It would be helpful if you provide the details about your environment - complete logs captured via the main menu Help | Collect logs and diagnostic data, along with the Unix info screenshot captured as follows:

  1. Run the IDE in internal mode.
  2. Wait until the issue reproduces again.
  3. In the window with missing title, invoke Search Everywhere with Shift-Shift and tab to Actions.
  4. Enter Unix info in the search field.
  5. Make a screenshot of the Show Unix info window being displayed and attach to your reply or post in a comment to the YouTrack ticket.

You can attach diagnostic info to the mentioned YouTrack ticket or use our upload service, just let us know the upload ID. Thank you!

Oh, sorry, I missed the point and thought the window title disappeared for you, not that it's just not native. Please ignore my previous comment :(
