Issue with renewing JetBrains Educational Pack after changing schools

Dear JetBrains Support Team,

 

I used the JetBrains Educational Pack last year with my student email from a Swedish university. Recently, I moved to the U.S. and I am now enrolled in a new school with a new student email address.

 

However, when I try to bind my new school email to my JetBrains account, I receive the following message:

“You already have a JetBrains Educational Pack. Please check your JetBrains Account.”

 

When I attempt to renew using my new school email, I instead get this message:

“If you would like to renew your Student License, please use the dedicated link in your JetBrains Account, or check the email reminder we send out one week before your license expires for the same link.”

 

It seems I am unable to update my account with my new school email or renew the Educational Pack properly. Could you please help me link my new school email to my JetBrains account so that I can continue using the Educational Pack?

We would be happy to help you to solve your issue, and will just need a little more info. As you got an auto-approved student subscription, please send me any officially issued document in the PDF format with your full name and confirmation of your current student status in 2025/2026 academic year for validation of your JetBrains account ownership and eligibility.

After getting this documentation I'll help you to solve the issue by merging your both accounts into a single one for your convenience.

Please create a request here https://www.jetbrains.com/support/sales/#email-sales, describe the problem, provide information about your GitHub username, send a screenshot of your GitHub profile with your name and the date of being verified as belonging to a student, your student email address
and attach any officially issued document in the PDF format with your full name and confirmation of your current student status in 2025/2026 academic year for validation of your JetBrains account ownership and eligibility. 

After getting this information and your supporting document I'll help you to solve the issue.
