Show total changed files on Git icon

Hi,
I want the Git commit icon in IntelliJ to show the total number of changed files, like VSCode does.
Is there a way to enable this?

Could you please advise what the benefit of this feature would be in your use case scenario? Thank you.
Where the Git icon shows the number of changed files. This helps me quickly see how many files I have modified in the project. Without number seem's i didn't changed anything in the project.
Thank you for the information. So the goal is to quickly find out if there are any uncommitted changes in the workspace.
