How do I delay or completely get rid of "No Suggestions" popup?

I find this popup very disruptive and makes it seem like my IDE is on crack. I would like to either delay the popup appearance or better yet, completely get rid of it. It appears every time I click anywhere. I thought it was because of Google Copilot. I tested by uninstalling the plugin but the issue persisted.

I could not reproduce the issue on my side with the same code as provided by you in the screenshot.
Could you please provide more details for further investigation:

  1. Create a simple test project-reproducer where this problem can be reproduced for you
  2. Capture screencast video with a demonstration of this issue and share it with us

Hello Anjildhamala,
Sounds like a rogue extension or misconfigured setting. Try disabling all plugins, then re-enable them one by one to isolate the cause. Also check your IDE’s accessibility or code suggestion settings—some popups can be suppressed or delayed there.
