No Edit option in AI Assistant
Why it was removed? I am using local LLMs, got pretty powerful HW for it and now just Claude and Junie can be really smart, I wanted to use PHPStorm for another decade, but seems Jetbrains took strategy of fast profit instead of customer satisfaction…

Hello,
The Quick Edit was completely deprecated in the 2025.3 IDE release.
Its functionality, including small, fast edits, is now covered by Junie and Claude Agents, which provide the same quick workflow but with higher-quality results. You can find more information in the following articles:
