Unkown Problem

Hi Communtiy !!!!

i have some strange problem and i cant name it ....

I want to create a file with the name "MailerInterface" and phpStrom create me a unkown file with the name "MailerInterface.php"
If create a php file with a different name "bla" the file is a normal php file ....

"MailerInterface Picture"

"bla php file "


can someone help me ????

 

and what is the icon meaning from the "MailerInterface.php"

Hi there,

  1. Locate that problematic file in Project View panel
  2. Right click on it and choose "Mark as PHP"

Does it help? If you do not have such menu item there -- post a screenshot of what you have.

that is my Right click on the file ... i dont see some "Mark as " stuff ...

That action (or "Mark as Plain text" instead) should be just after "Delete" in context menu. Do you see it on another file in another folder/project?

Anything special about the folder? So far it looks like the one of the parent folders is marked as Excluded (at least that's the way I see similar menu on my PC here).

Check if MailerInterface or similar pattern is registered at File | Settings | Editor | File Types > Files Opened In Associated Applications.

If yes then just remove it from there.
