I want to use PHP Storm but from within the cloud 9 enviorment. It would be nice if I could pay the fee to have PHP Storm and plug that into cloud 9. I assume before they were owned by Amazon this was not posible, but now hopfully things will go in that direction so I can use PHP Storm when I had the service to use PHP Storm I was not because all my code is on cloud 9
Could you please add something to back your words? Is there something specific that works much better in Cloud 9 for you?

PhpStorm is a standalone IDE. Cloud 9 is a web-based IDE.
There's no way to plug one into another, I'm afraid.
