Not Receiving Emails At Gmail

Hey there,

I am trying to make an account as a student and I use my edu mail with Gmail. I try to sign up and it says that the confirmation has been sent but I don't get it. I have tried multiple times, Still didn't work. I also checked the spam folder. What's wrong?
